SIGA 2019, the platform for the complete water cycle
From 26 February to 1 March 2019 at Feria de Madrid
In its second edition, ACCIONA, AQUALIA and CANAL DE ISABEL II, among others, have renewed their support for the fair, as have the sector's most important associations
IFEMA has announced the second edition of the Trade Fair for Innovative Water Management Solutions , SIGA , from 26 February to 1 March, 2019, occupying the entirety of Hall 2 at Feria de Madrid.
SIGA 2019 will place special emphasis on internationalisation and helping companies access foreign markets. In this sense, it will design a very ambitious foreign buyer programme.
Likewise, another of SIGA 2019's main lines of action will be to set up a business space that offers high profitability to participating companies, as well as a forum for high-level analysis and debate, with a programme that portends an innovative international conference.
It is noteworthy that, in addition to a sizeable presence of leading companies in this industry, SIGA 2019 will once again enjoy the active participation of major water management companies such as Canal de Isabel II, Acciona Agua and Aqualia, which are back in the game in this edition.
According to ACCIONA Agua, "we are counting on SIGA becoming the international benchmark for the sector in Spain, and we are already working to make the 2019 edition the springboard for those that will come later."
For its part, AQUALIA says that "SIGA 2019, will offer us high levels of attendance and participation by relevant personalities involved in the world of water, with the goal of growth and continuous improvement, to which IFEMA has committed itself."
In addition, the main associations and entities of this sector are renewing their support for SIGA through their Organising Committee, which has representation from the General Directorate of Water (Ministry for the Ecological Transition); the Centre for Industrial Technological Development, CDTI; and the sector associations ADECAGUA, AEAS, AEDYR, AGA, ANAIP / ASETUB, ASAGUA, ASERSA, FLUIDEX, IBSTT, PTEA, SEOPAN and TECNIBERIA. Members of these associations can benefit from advantageous trade fair participation conditions.
SIGA 2019 will be held next to the International Symposium and Exhibition of Sensors and Hydro-Environmental Software, HydroSenSoft, which will allow attendees to keep abreast of the latest innovations in this field and participate in the intense programme of conferences, where this sector's current affairs will be analysed.
Likewise, SIGA will once again coincide with other relevant events in their respective sectors, such as TECNOVA PISCINAS, CLIMATIZACIÓN & REFRIGERACIÓN and GENERA. The joint celebration of these five events two years ago was quite beneficial for everyone, as it took advantage of the synergies between them, attracting more than 70,000 professionals, many of them potential clients of SIGA's exhibiting companies. In this way, by bringing these five events together at the same space and time, Feria de Madrid will once again be holding the most important professional water sector event in Spain.
