Motor, car and transport

The motor industry has undergone constant change and renewal in recent years. Despite being an industry sensitive to economic cycles, its ambition has forced it to continually reinvent itself over the last decade.

For the motor show industry, the future is already here. That is why it has always been its constant objective to offer the best solution for the end customer, always opting for investment in high technology and in the robotics sector.

Such is its influence on society that it covers 10% of the total GDP of the national economy. The data speaks for itself; more than a thousand companies involved in the sector (directly or indirectly) or the generation of employment measure the state of the industry. As a last point, Spain is at the top of the podium in terms of production of industrial and utility vehicles.

The sectors of the motor industry

The industry welcomes relevant sectors whose professionalism and work based on technological advances form very lucrative synergies for the industry.

Thanks to the automation in the manufacturing processes, professionals are able in time to pay more attention to the design and improve the most technical aspects of the car. This makes driving safer and more sustainable.

In recent years IFEMA MADRID has become a key meeting point for the automotive industry, where every year there are several motor shows that bring together the latest developments in the industry.

Among the motor shows held in Madrid, Vive La Moto, the great Motor Show in Madrid, and the VO Show, the second-hand and semi-new vehicle show, stand out.

Other motor shows

On an international level, Trafic and Trafic Latin America, the International Security and Sustainable Mobility Trade Shows; Mobility Car Experience, the Madrid International Motor Show and FIAA, the International Bus and Coach Trade Show, all take place.

Likewise, IFEMA MADRID Motortec, the International Automotive Industry and Aftermarket Trade Fair; and Retromóvil Madrid, the International Vintage, Classic and Sports Car Show are also held.
