Meat Attraction is returning stronger than ever and announces that it will be held from 16-18 February 2027

Organised by IFEMA MADRID and ANICE, the largest international meat industry trade fair is working on an action plan to further increase participation and visibility.
After a historic sixth edition, Meat Attraction is preparing for its next big event, consolidating its two-yearly occurrence. Thus, IFEMA MADRID announces that Meat Attraction 2027 is being held from 16 to 18 February and with the implementation of an ambitious action plan to continue growing, consolidating the trade fair as an international meeting point for the meat industry and reinforcing the leadership of the Spanish industry in the world.
This was announced after the meeting of the Meat Attraction Organising Committee, which in addition to taking stock of the last edition, officially confirmed the dates and presented a roadmap designed to multiply participation, business and visibility of the industry throughout the country, with specific initiatives aimed at the media, companies, national and international buyers and opinion leaders.
"We are fully committed to further strengthening Meat Attraction as the international benchmark event for the meat industry. Our vision is clear: to make the trade fair into the global epicentre where the future of the industry is defined, strategic alliances are generated and innovation, sustainability and excellence are driven throughout the value chain. Spain is one of the world's leading meat producers and exporters and needs a space that projects its capacity, technology and commitment to the highest standards," says María José Sánchez, director of Meat Attraction.
"The internationalisation and networking generated here are key to the commercial development of meat companies. Meat Attraction is much more than a trade fair: it is a tool for competitiveness and projection for all operators and we have to take advantage of its potential," said Alberto Jiménez, president of the National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain (ANICE), which co-organises the trade fair.
With an eye on the future, IFEMA MADRID and ANICE want to consolidate Spain as one of the major global hubs of the meat industry, standing out in terms of quality, innovation, safety and sustainability and with the firm commitment to continue offering solid reasons for operators and industry leaders not to miss this event.
Meat Attraction 2025, the edition that marked a turning point
The last edition held in February 2025 exceeded all expectations, becoming the most successful to date with more than 10,600 professional attendees from 64 countries and the participation of 300 companies and brands showcasing the industry’s entire value chain.
The Trade Fair was notable for its intense commercial activity, with more than 1,000 B2B meetings held between Spanish exporters and international importers, and a buyers' programme with the presence of delegations from strategic markets such as Japan, Morocco, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
This growth was reflected not only in the figures, but also in the quality and professional profile of the attendees, consolidating Meat Attraction as a key space for generating business opportunities and projecting the industry with confidence.
Meat Attraction 2027 is taking place from 16 to 18 February at IFEMA MADRID.
