Anuga Select Ibérica is accelerating its growth with more than 400 exhibitors confirmed seven months ahead of the event
The major trade fair for the food and drink industry in the Iberian Peninsula, to be held in Madrid from 16 to 18 February 2027, is expected to attract more than 50,000 professionals, with 30% of visitors coming from abroad, and has already signed up exhibitors from 19 countries.
Anuga Select Ibérica continues to consolidate its position as one of Europe’s leading trade events for the food and drink industry. With seven months to go until the trade fair organised by IFEMA MADRID and KOELNMESSE has already surpassed 400 confirmed exhibitors, reflecting the strong market response and companies’ confidence in this new flagship event for the industry.
The figures confirm the event’s excellent commercial performance as it moves steadily towards its next edition with a comprehensive programme capable of bringing together the entire food industry value chain. Manufacturers, producers, distributors, importers and service providers have already embraced a platform designed to generate business, drive internationalisation and facilitate new commercial opportunities in increasingly global and competitive markets.
With more than 50,000 trade visitors expected, Anuga Select Ibérica aims to become one of the industry’s leading events in the Iberian Peninsula. Furthermore, around 30% of attendees are coming from international markets, with a notable presence of trade visitors from Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Benelux, North Africa and Latin America, alongside a broad representation from the Spanish market.
The international scope of the project is also reflected in the profile of its exhibitors. To date, Anuga Select Ibérica has already signed up companies from 19 countries: Albania, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Slovakia, Spain, the United States, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Qatar, Turkey and Vietnam – a level of participation that reinforces the trade fair’s global appeal and its ability to connect supply and demand on an international scale.
The commercial momentum is being felt equally across all the sectors represented at the trade fair: meat, represented by Meat Attraction; bakery, patisserie and ice-cream, with BICA (Bakery & Ice Cream Attraction); frozen, chilled and fresh produce; fine food; dairy; beverages; auxiliary industries; and organic products. Together, these areas form a comprehensive approach capable of assembling the entire food value chain. Together, they form a unique offering that brings together the main segments of the food industry under one single umbrella.
More than just a trade fair, Anuga Select Ibérica has been created as a major platform for business, networking and innovation for the industry as a whole. A venue where companies can showcase their latest products, strengthen business relationships, identify consumer trends and connect with key buyers and professionals from domestic and international markets.
Anuga Select Ibérica looks ahead to the coming months with great optimism, consolidating the strategic commitment of IFEMA MADRID and KOELNMESSE to create the leading meeting point for the food, drink, meat, bakery, patisserie and ice-cream sectors in southern Europe.
