Castilla & León will be showcasing its appeal as an experiences tourism destination at FITUR 2022, the first major tourism industry event of the year, from 19th to 23rd January at IFEMA MADRID. Visitors to the stand will discover a region that offers “a thousand and one experiences of nature, culture, food & wine, sports, and much more to make the most of your trip and your stay.”
Also, Castilla & León is a smart tourist destination that uses artificial intelligence and neuromarketing to better understand what emotions move potential visitors. “At our FITUR stand, we want to analyse visitor behaviour using profiling. We want to see how tourists and professionals react to our brand and to the stand itself to optimise the design to make it more efficient for future editions. We will be measuring visitors’ reactions to the stand design, configuration and promotional images to understand their emotional reactions. We want the Castilla & León stand to be a pioneer experience in the tourism sector.”
At FITUR, Castilla & Leon will be presenting its partnership project with Portugal: Three Regions, Two Countries, One Destination. Likewise, its co-exhibitors, the nine provinces of Castilla y León and the Regional Council of El Bierzo, will be taking advantage of this international event to present their new tourism products and most outstanding resources. “At the stand, we will also have the Nine Wine Routes of Castilla & León and the Posadas Reales (Royal Inns) Rural Tourism quality mark.”
At FITUR 2022, Castilla y León will be firmly supporting tourism marketing, making its stand a business promotion tool for its tourism companies and freelancers. So, it will have a large commercial area for arranging meetings and interviews.
FITUR is one of the world’s leading trade fairs and the leading hub for the Latin-American market. IFEMA MADRID will organise its 42nd edition from 19th to 23rd January 2022 at the Spanish capital’s Exhibition Venue. It is supported by Spain’s government, which has declared it an Event of Exceptional Public Interest. It is also backed by institutions, countries and destinations, hotel chains, agencies and tour operators, technology companies, suppliers, transport providers, and others. This backing makes FITUR an excellent platform for finding out about new developments, initiatives and future trends in specialisation, technology and sustainability, making it an unmissable meeting point for the worldwide tourism industry.
