Since its creation in 2021, FITUR Lingua has positioned itself as a key meeting point for professionals, educational institutions and companies interested in language tourism.
It is a space specialising in language tourism, designed in collaboration with FEDELE (Spanish Federation of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language), focusing on the potential of language as a driver of tourist attraction, combining learning, culture and economic development.
FITUR Lingua 2026: ‘Language as a multiplier effect for tourism’
Under this slogan, in 2026, we want to explore how language, language education and the cultural transfer associated with it can promote not only language tourism, but also other tourism products.
Similarly, we want to highlight how other experiences in the country contribute to making language immersion a booming phenomenon that will see widespread development in the coming years.
With a mature and consolidated sector, students are increasingly demanding unique and personalised experiences. We will present the current motivations of students/tourists and how we can improve our services to provide better experiences.
This year, FITUR Lingua will also have more time for development, networking and presentations, making this edition a unique commitment to language tourism, language and everything related to its development, both inside and outside Spain.
