Puerto Rico presents itself as a destination that evokes a strong emotional connection for travellers
Puerto Rico has submitted its bid to be a Partner at FITUR 2027, the International Tourism Fair to be held from 20 to 24 January at IFEMA MADRID. The announcement, which took place at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Retiro Park, was attended by Willianette Robles, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company; José Vicente de los Mozos, Chair of the Executive Committee of IFEMA MADRID; María Valcarce, Director of the International Tourism Fair; and Jorge L. Perez, CEO of Descubre Puerto Rico.
During the presentation, Willianette Robles emphasised that “being a Partner of FITUR 2027 represents an opportunity for the ‘Island of Enchantment’ to showcase to the world the diversity of experiences that set us apart, whilst strengthening our partnerships with the European market. Under the leadership of Governor Jenniffer González Colón, our participation will drive new business, investment and growth opportunities for Puerto Rico’s tourism industry as the heart of the Caribbean.”
