Landing-Madrid, to be held between 21st and 23rd January 2020, will make Madrid the world’s capital of audio-visual productions. The second edition of this event will include talks, round tables, success stories, workshops and a competition open to videos shown on FITUR’s stands. This year’s fair provides the ideal setting for an event like Landing-Madrid, which aims to analyse trends, study and highlight communications best practices in the tourism industry, and provide a learning platform for tourism and communication professionals.

Landing-Madrid is organised by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Madrid City Council in collaboration with Terres Landscape and Travel Communication and the CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals), a worldwide network of festivals that, since 1989, has showcased the best audio-visual communication productions in the global tourism industry.

One of the highlights of Landing-Madrid will be a video competition for destinations, companies and associations taking part in FITUR. The competition will be structured in two scopes (Spain and worldwide) and five thematic categories (Country Tourist Destination, Region Tourist Destination, City Tourist Destination, Tourist Products and Tourist Services). Registration is free and open from December 2nd and can be done online through the website www.landing-madrid.com, where the competition rules are published.
