FITUR 2022 will bring together congress tourism and business travel in its FITUR MICE section
There will be close to 100 participants, and around 2,940 pre-booked meetings
Among the 56 participating procurement officers chosen, there are events and conference organisers, incentives agencies and corporate procurement officers
As every year and through its FITUR MICE section, FITUR brings together congress tourism and business travel, around a networking area that is exclusively professional, designed to identify clients and generate business. FITUR MICE, again with the collaboration of MITM Events, a company specialising in organising B2B events for the MICE industry, and the support of the network of Delegations of IFEMA MADRID around the world, will begin two days prior to the inauguration of FITUR 2022 (17 and 18 January). It will offer among its various content a strategic point for specialised offer and demand in this segment that is key to stimulating the tourism industry worldwide.
In this edition, a total of 42 exhibitors from 12 countries will be participating at FITUR MICE, and over two days will hold a series of pre-booked meetings with 56 procurement officers from 21 countries who have undergone a strict selection process, from among the 281 registrations received. The selection was based on criteria that took into consideration the high business potential and purchasing decision, thus making up a highly-qualified group of events and conference organisers, incentives agencies and corporate procurement officers, among other profiles.
It is estimated that around 2,940 pre-booked meetings will be held over these days, in addition to those generated during the networking programme, which comprises various social events, visits to the city of Madrid and to FITUR, which will allow participants to expand contacts and strengthen connections.
