Catalonia Promotes Its Diverse Range of Tourism Experiences Suitable for the Current Situation, at FITUR
The stand’s unifying theme will be the idea that there are as many Cataluñas as there are tastes, hobbies and ages.
Nine tourism brands will be at its stand: Costa Brava, Costa Daurada, Terres de Lleida, Costa Barcelona, Barcelona Landscapes, Pyrenees, Aran Valley, Terres de l’Ebre and Barcelona. The Grand Tour Catalunya will be one of the stand’s highlights, an itinerary that’s a complete tourist product, a way to travel around Catalonia by road on different days.
The Catalan Tourism Agency will be at FITUR, from 19th to 23rd January at IFEMA MADRID, to promote Catalonia’s wide diversity of tourism experiences suitable for the present situation. The nine tourism brands are Costa Brava, Costa Daurada, Terres de Lleida, Costa Barcelona, Barcelona Landscapes, Pyrenees, Aran Valley, Terres de l’Ebre and Barcelona. They are represented at the Catalonia stand by the tourism boards of their Provincial Councils and Tourism of Barcelona.
One of the highlights at this year’s stand will be the Grand Tour Catalunya. The Tour is an itinerary for travelling around Catalonia by road on different days, discovering the main attractions of its heritage, natural and food and wine attractions, and getting to know its people, customs and traditions.
To strengthen the customisation concept of Catalonia’s tourism campaign, the 700 m2 stand is based on the idea that there are as many Cataluñas as there are tastes, hobbies and ages. It will feature a display of photographs about different visitor activities in Catalonia. The stand also has a work area for meetings and business relations that complies with all the sanitary protocols and a space where visitors can see an F1 car from the Barcelona-Catalunya race track.
