Collaboration agreement with the Meadows Museum in Dallas
This initiative aims to promote Spanish contemporary art in the United States, through the MAS programme (Meadows/ARCO Artist Spotlight) This alliance, which will last for six years, will give Spanish artists greater visibility at the US museum. Every two years, the Meadows Museum will exhibit the work of an artist selected by both institutions, so there will be a total of three exhibitions of four months each, which can be of one or more works, starting with the first one in January 2021, before continuing in 2023 and 2025. In addition, on the occasion of the signing of this agreement, the Meadows Museum will exhibit the work Untitled (2019) by Secundino Hernández until 26 April 2020.

Collecting Forum
This is the meeting point of the international art community where top collectors and professionals present their views, ideas and projects regarding the collection of contemporary art in sessions open to the public. On this occasion, it contemplates conversations between Gloria Moure with Desiré Fueerle and Francesa Thyssen-Bornemisza, and with Pamela Kramlich; between Fernando García-Dory and Michael Krichmann, Aimée Labarrere de Servitje, Bertrand Jacoberger and Chus Martínez; and between Christian Viveros-Fauné with Claudio Engel and María Píes Ortuzar.
Espacio Fundación ARCO
A rest and meeting area sponsored by Fundación ARCO and reserved for Amigos ARCO. On this occasion, the space is dedicated to the Mexican artist Tania Perez Cordova in an environment that will be designed by Casa Josephine Studio with the collaboration of Vbospagna, Aranluz and Compac. This is an interior design and lighting project that moves certain elements that we traditionally understand as domestic to an artistic and ephemeral exhibition space. Thus, a perimeter of blinds through which different lights are filtered according to the time of day suggests the existence of an exterior space; the carpets are presented as an essential element of comfort; and the bases with plants appear as the recognition of the decorative instinct that enhances and redefines objects both in domestic interior design and in the presentation of art.
Access to museums
With Fundación ARCO card, those with Amigo ARCO status can gain access to different contemporary art museums in Spain such as the Reina Sofía National Art Centre Museum (Madrid); MACBA (Barcelona); Fundació Joan Miró (Barcelona); LaLaboral (Gijón); CGAC (Santiago de Compostela); ARTIUM, Basque Contemporary Art Centre-Museum (Vitoria-Gasteiz); Es Baluard (Palma de Mallorca); IVAM (Valencia) and Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
Fundación ARCO awards ceremony at ARCOlisboa
For the first time, a dinner and awards ceremony will be organised to raise funds for Fundación ARCO to purchase works on the occasion of ARCOlisbon, at a gala similar to the one held in Madrid. This event will take place on Friday 15 May 2020.
With all these initiatives, Fundación ARCO serves similar purposes to those of IFEMA: that its trade show activity permeates society both in Madrid and its region, namely the execution of lasting and sustainable projects which at the same time promote business activities in the sectors and contribute to social enrichment, the creation of culture, collaboration with existing institutions and the positive perception of our work by the general public.
