Press accreditation
ARCO will issue press accreditations exclusively to active professionals covering ARCOmadrid 2026: journalists, photographers, audiovisual operators, and specialized content creators.
No accreditations will be granted to staff from marketing, advertising, public relations, sales, agencies, events, or companions who do not perform journalistic duties nor produce content solely intended for the coverage of ARCOmadrid.
Accreditations are personal, nominative, and non-transferable. Applications are individual. The system accepts only one email address per request.
The fair management reserves the right to grant or deny accreditation in all cases.
Essential credentials for print and digital press
- A recent article or publication, produced within the last three months by the applicant, about art fairs, the art market, or the art world in general.
- An official letter from the responsible editor (with original letterhead), confirming the applicant’s assignment to cover ARCO.
Essential credentials for photographers
- A recent article that includes photographs taken by the applicant about art fairs, the art market, or the art world in general.
- An official letter from the responsible editor (with original letterhead), confirming the applicant’s assignment to cover ARCO.
Essential credentials for audiovisual media
- A press card
- An official letter from the media outlet (with original letterhead), confirming the applicant’s assignment to cover ARCO.
Essential credentials for influencers and content creators
Accreditations for content creators and influencers will only be granted to individuals who produce professional and relevant content about art, art fairs, or the cultural sector, with a verifiable audience on digital platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, blogs, etc.).
Maximum of two accreditations per channel or profile.
Requirements:
- Profile or channel must be at least one year old and dedicated to art.
- Followers:
- Social media: at least 12,000 real followers on one platform.
- Blogs: at least 3,000 followers.
- Podcasts: more than 1,500 followers.
- The number of followers must exceed the number of accounts followed.
- Specialized content:
- Recent posts related to art, culture, or art fairs (photos, videos, posts, stories, articles).
- Recent activity:
- Posts within the last month related to artistic topics.
Advertising, marketing, public relations
ARCO will not issue press accreditations to professionals in marketing, advertising, public relations, events, and promotion, nor to companions or individuals who do not perform journalistic functions directly related to covering the event.
They must manage their accreditation exclusively through their exhibitor clients or purchase tickets for the days open to the public.
