ARCOmadrid 2027 opens the call for its General Programme
ARCOmadrid 2027, which will be held at IFEMA MADRID from 3 to 7 March, has officially opened the application period for participation in its General Programme, the core section of the fair. Interested galleries may submit their proposals until 17 September 2026.
For its 46th edition, ARCOmadrid reaffirms its commitment to creating a space for dialogue around contemporary art that fosters the exchange of knowledge and collaboration among art professionals, helping to drive the success of participating galleries while strengthening the fair’s artistic content.
Beyond serving as a meeting point, ARCOmadrid has established itself as a platform for visibility, opportunity and professional exchange within the international art community.
Alongside the main section, open to all galleries that meet the requirements outlined in the regulations, ARCOmadrid will feature a number of curated sections that will play a prominent role in the configuration of the fair.
In 2027, ARCO2046 will return as a space for exploring possible futures and reflecting on new ways of understanding the world and art. ARCO2046 will comprise two spaces within the fair, curated respectively by João Mourão and Luis Silva, and by Max Andrews and Mariana Cánepa Luna (Latitudes).
The Opening. New Galleries section, curated by Rafa Barber Cortell and Bernardo Mosqueira, will bring together a selection of galleries established within the last eight years. Meanwhile, the Perfiles | Latin American Art, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, will renew ARCOmadrid’s long-standing relationship with the Latin American art scene.
With this new edition, ARCOmadrid reaffirms its role as an international platform for the promotion and discovery of contemporary art, and as a key meeting point for gallerists, artists, collectors, curators and institutions.
