What is ARCOmadrid?
ARCOmadrid is Spain’s International Contemporary Art Fair which, since its inception, has established itself as one of the leading platforms in the contemporary art market. In 2026, it will celebrate its 45th edition, with ARCO2045 as the central theme: two spaces within the fair, curated respectively by José Luis Blondet and Magalí Arriola, inviting reflection on the present and future of the contemporary art fair.
Furthermore, the General Programme will once again feature artistic content as the main focus of the fair, with galleries and projects selected by the Organising Committee.
Once again, the curated sections will play a prominent role. Opening. New Galleries, curated by Anissa Touati and Rafa Barber, will bring together a selection of galleries with less than eight years of activity. Meanwhile, the project Profiles | Latin American Art, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, will continue to strengthen the historic connection between ARCOmadrid and Latin American ar
