This plan involves different initiatives and actions aimed at energising and boosting the art market, one of the main goals of Fundación ARCO. Among these initiatives, traditional activities are already prominent on the annual calendar of Fundación ARCO, such as the ARCO GalleryWalk, which will double its capacity at the next Madrid edition in September and will also include routes in Mallorca, alongside the usual ones in Madrid, Lisbon, Valencia and Barcelona; the "A" Awards for collecting, set to be handed out during ARCOmadrid 2019; and #mecomprounaobra, which will go one step further this year by working digitally through the koyac.net platform.

In addition, the plan includes new developments for everyone involved with Amigo ARCO, who will be able to access the exclusive activities of the VIP Programme, and those in Amigo ARCO Joven, who will also be able to access the Fair between Thursday and Sunday with up to three companions. In addition, everyone joining Amigo ARCO at ARCOmadrid 2019, will get a 50 por ciento discount.

As in previous years, Fundación ARCO will organise a dinner in the Community of Madrid prior to the start of ARCOmadrid 2019, the proceeds of which will go towards the acquisition of pieces at the Fair for its Collection. On this occasion, the consultants in charge of selecting the pieces are going to be the curators Manuel Segade, who will be renewing his commitment to Fundación ARCO, and Vincent Honoré, who will join this year.

Moreover, during the celebration of the next edition of ARCOmadrid the inaugural breakfast will be kept exclusive for collectors, curators, museum directors and institutions, and other professionals of the contemporary art promoted by Fundación ARCO. The Fundación, for its part, will also have its usual spaces within the Fair, as well as in the Forum and Professional Meetings, and in the First Collectors programme.
