‘TALENT LAB 23’, the new exhibition by CSDMM-UPM, will be presented at the next edition of MOMAD
It will be in the connecting area between Halls 6 and 8, where you will be able to see designs by students at the Higher Centre for Fashion Design in Madrid at the Polytechnic University of Madrid
IFEMA MADRID will become the epicentre of fashion in Spain from 9 to 11 February with MOMAD in Hall 8 of the Recinto Ferial. It will coincide with Intergift (7-10 February), Bisutex and Madridplata y más by Madridjoya (8-11 February), making it the top place to see fashion, accessories, jewellery, decoration and gifts in one place at one time.
Likewise, with more than 300 exhibiting firms confirmed for the next edition, MOMAD has the same spirit of commitment to the new talent it has supported for years with the MOMAD Talents by ISEM contest (also at this edition) the presentation of the ‘TALENT LAB 23’ contest, a project by the Higher Centre for Fashion Design in Madrid at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (CSDMM-UPM). The CSDMM-UPM is a National Fashion Award, pioneering in Spain by considering fashion a university discipline. ‘TALENT LAB 23’ opens the doors of its classrooms to show the work of promising young fashion designers who are training there.
This initiative, present in several formats, is taught by teachers from the centre, highly prestigious designers like Juan Vidal, Miguel Becer, Evangelina Julia, Daniel Rabaneda and Ernesto Naranjo, and photographed by Erik Von Frankenberg. The exhibition focuses on the fashion magazine (CSDMMag), which is five years old. In short, this cooperation will make it possible to see looks designed and produced by students from the CSD-MM-UPM CSDMM-UPM and is sure to be a great attraction at MOMAD in the connecting area between 6 and 8, raising the profile of young fashion professionals at the fashion industry's most important trade show in Spain.
MOMAD will be held from 9 to 11 February in Hall 8 at IFEMA MADRID, uninterruptedly from 10.00 to 19.00 on 9 and 10 February and from 10.00 to 17.00 on the last day of the fair. For more information, click here.
