What is Momad?

The major fashion trade fair organised by IFEMA MADRID.

MOMAD is the largest commercial showcase in southern Europe for the presentation of new fashion collections, trends and innovative brands and retail concepts.

Organised by IFEMA MADRID, it is held twice a year. Its extensive catalogue of exhibitors includes emerging companies and leading international firms.

With a strong commitment to the future of the sector, MOMAD offers activities and content focused on development, promoting digitalisation, innovation and sustainability, and supporting young designers.

MOMAD is the event chosen by fashion companies to present their latest proposals for the Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter seasons.

The trade fair offers a differentiated area for Textile Clothing, with different styles of clothes, from classic elegance to the most current proposals, without renouncing to the quality of design and style.

Footwear and Accessories, this space brings together the creations and proposals for this season from national and international brands, in a balance between trend and timelessness, comfort and elegance, craftsmanship and design.

It also has differentiated areas for young designers in the EGO space; Sustainable Experience, with brands that develop their production and marketing in an ethical way; and Retail Services, dedicated to innovative solutions for Retail, packaging and mannequins.

MOMAD is an essential commercial tool for the national and international commercialisation of fashion collections for the following season. The fact that it is held twice a year allows it to adapt to the seasons of sales and demand: Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter.

Due to its geographical location in Southern Europe and its cultural proximity, MOMAD is the ideal platform for Latin American brands to introduce themselves in Europe.

It is the meeting point for professionals from the textile and fashion sector, where they can build business relationships and open up new business opportunities.

MOMAD offers development-focused content promoting digitalisation, innovation and sustainability, and supporting young designers. The extensive programme of activities is designed to showcase the latest trends and the current and future challenges facing the sector.   

The programme includes the MOMAD Catwalk, a stage where emerging and leading brands from the sector present their latest designs and novelties. 

In addition, MOMAD has the digital support of the LIVE Connect platform that keeps the community of professional visitors and exhibitors connected, as well as all the contents, after the celebration of the trade fair.

MOMAD promotes entrepreneurship in the sector. Every year it rewards and supports new designers and emerging companies that need a platform to reach multi-brand shops. 

#MOMADTalents by ISEM is a competition aimed at new brands and designers with innovative proposals. 

In addition, the fair has the EGO participation modality. A space reserved for young designers, emerging designers or newly created firms.
