MOMAD launches a new edition of MOMAD Talents by ISEM to reveal up-and-coming talent in the fashion sector
The contest will accept entries until 15 November, and two new firms will be rewarded with exhibition space at MOMAD 2027, which will take place from 4 to 6 February at IFEMA MADRID
MOMAD, the International Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Trade Fair, taking place at IFEMA MADRID from 4 to 6 February, is launching the 17th edition of the MOMAD Talents by ISEM competition. The initiative aims to raise the profile of new brands and emerging designers in the fashion industry. Applications are open until 15 November 2026 to companies and entrepreneurs with no more than three seasons’ trading history in the Spanish market.
Established as a leading showcase for emerging talent in the fashion industry, the competition looks to identify creative and innovative concepts in the clothing, footwear, and accessories categories, and to provide participants with a platform to raise their profile among buyers, industry professionals, and businesses.
The two winning brands, which will be announced on 20 November through MOMAD’s social media channels, will have the opportunity to present their collections in their own dedicated space at the next edition of MOMAD. In addition to the exhibition space, the competition will award first place a scholarship to study the Fashion and Creativity Management programme at ISEM Fashion Business School, reaffirming its commitment to the business and professional development of the sector’s next generation.
The winning brands will take part in an especially significant edition for the sector. From 4 to 6 February, MOMAD will coincide with the year’s only edition of Intergift and with Bisutex, creating a major professional event at IFEMA MADRID that will bring together companies and buyers from the fashion, accessories, jewellery, home décor and gift sectors. In parallel, Bisutex is also accepting entries for a new edition of Bisutex Talents, which aims to champion emerging talent in the costume jewellery and accessories sectors.
