The Pasarela MOMAD will host catwalk shows and talks about the fashion industry
MOMAD will host a weekend of interesting shows and talks by participating firms from 9 to 11 February
As well as the enormous range of fashion options offered by the more than 300 firms participating in the coming edition of MOMAD from 9 to 11 February 2024 in Hall 8 of the Recinto Ferial at IFEMA MADRID, Pasarela MOMAD will also take centre stage at this edition by hosting fascinating talks for the fashion industry and exclusive catwalk shows by firms participating in the trade fair.
Friday, 9 February
At 10.30, the Spanish Fashion Confederation will present a ‘Study of the conduct and behaviour of consumers in the textile and fashion sector. Evolution’. At 12.00, there will be catwalk shows by Asociación del Triángulo de la Moda and Cuplé.
At 12.45, the Spanish Fashion Confederation will present ‘Programmes for public/private cooperation in the fashion sector. Digital strategies for traceability, authentication and cybersecurity’. At 14.00, it will be time for the Málaga de Moda fashion show with the firms Selva de Mar, Shamat, Susana Zamora, Inma de la Riva, Inridelo and Bumpers Brand. At 15.00, there will be a forum entitled #FashionWithMeaning CONESE- Kantar, ‘The Greenwashing effect in fashion consumption’, and at 15.30 #FashionWithMeaning CONESE- EXTRENDA, ‘The virtual changing room in sustainable fashion’. At 16.00, the ADLIB Ibiza will take to the runway (Vintage Ibiza, Monika Maxim Ibiza, Piluca Bayarri, Tony Bonet, Ibiza Stones), and at 18.00, there will be another catwalk show courtesy of ICE-Junta de Castilla y León with the firms Ainhoa Salcedo Couture, Eulalia Mateos, Marae, Susana Escribano, Miso, Calcetines MINGO, Pablo and Mayaya Sombreros.
Saturday, 10 February
At 12.00, Faride will take over the catwalk. One hour later, at 13.00, it will be time for ‘The writer who publishes handkerchiefs. Art, luxury and stories’ by Fabric Poetry- Almudena Solana. At 14.00 there will be a very special fashion show organised by Ada Asociación. The afternoon will feature fashion shows by Fullmarix, Martina K and Cayma Closet at 16.00. And at 18.00, Fresh Cotton and Dolcezza.
Sunday 11
On the final day of MOMAD, there will be two catwalk shows when CSDMM-UPM will be up first at 12.00, followed by Asociación MUBRI at 14.00.
