Next year's Momad, Fashion in Madrid, organised by IFEMA and which will be held from 8 to 10 February 2019 at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid promises to be special, based on both the real interest shown the commercialisation of spaces and the importance of the brands that have so far confirmed their participation.
Momad is the result of brand evolution, after been an umbrella concept in recent years encompassing the Momad Metropolis and Momad Shoes events.
The event, which is seen as the major commercial platform for the Fashion sector in the Iberian Peninsula, has already sold 92.5 por ciento of its surface area and is set to expand into Halls 2, 12 and 14 of IFEMA-Feria de Madrid.
Another important aspect of the 2019 event is the range of exhibitors who will be present, 34.5 por ciento of which are new companies representing prestigious brands. Prominent among these are the Max Mara group's Emme Marella, Vila y Object from the Best Seller group, Hanibal Laguna, Corty Bennett, Devota & Lomba, Weill, Md'M, Pati Conde, Lion of Porches, Calzados Victoria and Kickers.
Momad will bring together proposals for Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 and Fast-Fashion for Spring-Summer 2019, classified by Fashion styles, in the Fur and Coat, Urban, Casual, Men’s, Evening Wear, Contemporary, Metro Space, Footwear, Accessories, Lingerie and Bathroom, Large Sizes, Sustainable Fashion and Momad 4.0 sectors. They will all be in the same location as in previous years.
Direct access to each hall
As a new feature at this edition, visitors will also have direct access to each of the halls of the fair without having to pass through Hall 2, as in the previous two events. Those attending will also have direct access to the Momad halls from the back of Hall 4, where Bisutex, the International Jewellery and Accessories Show will be held at the same time.
Bisutex and the MadridJoya event, the International Urban Jewellery and Watchmaking Trends Show, and Intergift, the International Gift and Decoration Fair will coincide with Momad IFEMA-Feria de Madrid. This will generate significant synergies between all the halls and make it easier for visitors to visit all the venue’s halls with a single pass.
Parallel activities
The show will also feature a wide range of parallel activities such as theMOMAD Catwalkand the programme of MOMAD Forum activities, which will help professionals find useful tools and resources with which to face the new challenges presented by the market. MOMAD will also include the Winter Terrace, with its rest area, music and fine food and drink.
Momad is also finalising details for a major International Buyers programme, which will contribute to the promotion, revitalisation and internationalisation of the exhibiting companies.
