For Vueling, FITUR 2024 was the starting signal of its 20th anniversary
Vueling is "very positive" about its participation in FITUR 2024, a landmark year for the airline as it commemorates its 20th anniversary. The International Tourism Fair was "the starting signal for this event", according to Sandra Hors, Director of Communication, Institutional Relations and Sustainability at Vueling.
Vueling's participation in the latest edition of FITUR was very positive. 2024 is a very special year for the airline as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. "Precisely, the International Tourism Fair has been the starting signal for this anniversary, where the company has shown the most important milestones in its history and also the challenges for the future through an interactive tour", according to Sandra Hors, the airline’s Director of Communication, International Relations and Sustainability.
Vueling was honoured at FITUR 2024 with one of the Best Stands Awards in the companies category. The company showcased innovation and design on its stand to tell its history and show its commitment to sustainability, without forgetting technology. The space comprised a structure formed by the traced lines of all the flight paths that its aircraft have flown for the last 20 years when it was created. Visitors were able to step inside and access destination information by means of a large interactive semi-circular screen.
