FITUR 2026 will be a key event for Meliá, not only as a showcase for its new products, but also as a meeting point with strategic partners and international media.

Meliá arrives at FITUR 2026 with great enthusiasm, "in a very special year in which we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Meliá Hotels International," the chain says. "As usual, we will be presenting our ambitious expansion plan, focused on strengthening our leadership in the world's leading holiday destinations: The Caribbean, Mediterranean, South East Asia and emerging markets such as the Middle East, which account for around 80% of our upcoming openings.

We will also be reviewing our latest additions, such as ME Lisboa, Paradisus Fuerteventura, Casa Lucía in Buenos Aires and Meliá Venezia Lido, and we will be announcing new additions such as ME Málaga, Paradisus Bali and the incorporation of the MiM Hoteles portfolio, owned by Leo Messi, to our brand The Meliá Collection," they added.

The trade fair - a key event

The company states that "FITUR is a key event for Meliá, not only as a showcase for our new products, but also as a meeting point with strategic partners and international media". In addition, "this year will be an opportunity to celebrate our 70-year history and share our vision for the future". In this regard, "we will be highlighting our commitment to sustainability through the Travel for Good programme, and we will be reinforcing our position as a benchmark for responsible tourism".

Meliá executives add that "FITUR also allows us to consolidate relationships, generate new business opportunities and, in general, show the world how we continue to evolve in order to offer unique experiences in the most desirable destinations on the planet".
