FITUR 2026 will be attended by leading establishments and hotel chains, including Palladium Hotel Group, RIU, B&B Hotels, Evenia Hotels and Silken Hotels.
Their spokespersons summarise the main tourism proposals they will be presenting at FITUR 2026 and what their company's participation at the trade fair will entail.
The main hotel firms and chains will be presenting their new products at FITUR 2026, including Palladium Hotel Group, RIU, B&B Hotels, Evenia Hotels and Silken Hotels. Those responsible for them give a summary of their proposals.
Palladium Hotel Group
Jesús Sobrino, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group, explains that this firm is closing 2025 with satisfactory economic results and outstanding strategic advances. "Among the year's milestones were the openings of The Unexpected Hotel Ibiza and Grand Palladium Select Collection in Costa Mujeres, Riviera Maya, Punta Cana and Ibiza, consolidating the differentiation of experiences as a key value of the group". Looking ahead, the development plan for 2026 presents an ambitious pipeline, with a special focus on Asia and the Caribbean, and includes large-scale projects such as the commitment to Playa d'en Bossa and the opening of The Site Hotel Ibiza. "The calendar of upcoming openings includes the opening of BLESS Hotel Barcelona and Only YOU Hotel New York in 2026; and by 2027, new additions in Jamaica with Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts and TRS Hotels, as well as Only YOU Hotels in Venice and Ibiza, thus reinforcing the group's international presence. Palladium Hotel Group will also continue to strengthen its commitment to people, communities and the environment through its Palladium Cares initiative".
Palladium's participation in FITUR 2026 is "an excellent opportunity to strengthen the brand's presence, generate new commercial alliances and present our new products to the tourism industry".
Evenia Hotels
For Manel Comajuncosa Noguera, Commercial Director of Evenia Hotels, the objective of his company at FITUR 2026 will be "the consolidation of the destinations we have, highlighting some new developments in establishments such as the Evenia Olympic Suites hotel (comprehensive refurbishment of all its rooms) and some other updates to better adapt to the current challenges facing the industry". Their participation in the show will mean "completing the consolidation of the destinations and establishments we have and, above all, preparing ourselves for the innovations of the future".
Silken Hotels
At the trade fair, Silken Hotels will be presenting its renewed commitment to urban hospitality and the experience of the contemporary traveller, marked by the sustained growth of the group and its return to the Basque capitals with the new opening in Bilbao. "This incorporation reinforces our presence in key destinations and consolidates our dedication to offering unique hotels with their own identity in the main Spanish cities. We will also take advantage of the trade fair to present the new Silken Hotels website, which represents a profound renovation of our digital image and user experience. Through a video presentation, we will be showing a more visual, intuitive and connected environment with the brand values, designed to inspire and facilitate direct booking".
According to the company, FITUR is a strategic event for Silken Hotels. "It is a privileged space to strengthen alliances with industry professionals, to give visibility to our new products and to project the evolution of the group in a context of growth and modernisation. This year, our participation takes on special relevance as it coincides with a period of expansion and rebranding that reaffirms our commitment to quality, innovation and sustainable urban tourism".
RIU
Senen Fornós, RIU's Commerical Director for Spain and Latin America, explains that RIU Hotels & Resorts, founded in 1953 in Mallorca by the Riu family, the current third-generation owner, is dedicated to the holiday hotel industry. "With 98 hotels in 21 countries, 74% of them offer the All Inclusive by RIU service. In 2024, RIU welcomed 6.7 million customers and employed 38,055 people. Last December (2025), the company opened the Hotel Riu Ventura, the hotel group’s seventh hotel in Cancún, in its holiday segment. In the urban hotel segment, the Hotel Riu Plaza Toronto, the first RIU hotel in Canada, was also opened. In 2026, the Hotel Riu Palace Phuket, RIU's first hotel in Thailand, the Hotel Riu Plaza Broadway, the third urban hotel in New York City, and the Hotel Riu Palace Swahili in Zanzibar are all scheduled to open.
Fornós points out that "FITUR, being one of the essential events on the world tourism calendar, is strategically very important for RIU. It is the perfect stage to reaffirm our commitment to quality, to highlight our renovations and new openings and to demonstrate our progress in sustainability through the company's Proudly Committed strategy".
B&B HOTELS
Finally, Belén Pérez Rodríguez, head of Brand & Communications at B&B HOTELS Spain and Portugal, explains that at FITUR 2026, B&B HOTELS will be presenting a proposal that reflects its vision of the hotel industry of the future, focused on four key pillars: design, growth, sustainability and lifestyle. "We believe that design transforms the customer experience. For this reason, we will have a space on our stand in collaboration with UDIT University, where we will talk about the value of design in the hotel industry and present our joint project New Design Talent, which promotes young talent and innovation in the industry." In terms of growth, "FITUR will be the stage for sharing some data on our expansion in Iberia and globally. We will present new openings and the lines of development that are positioning us as one of the most dynamic hotel chains in the market."
As for sustainability, "this is not a trend, but a reality at B&B HOTELS. We will showcase our sustainable initiatives and how we integrate them into the customer experience, from the design of our hotels to our day-to-day operations." And in terms of lifestyle, "we want to connect with today's smart traveller. For this reason, we will have an experiential space where content creators will share their best tips for travelling, enjoying and discovering the most authentic destinations, including their recommendations of our favourite hotels."
In addition, B&B HOTELS will have several activations for trade fair attendees, designed to bring the B&B HOTELS experience even closer to the visitor: "The event also includes a raffle of stays in our hotels so that attendees can experience our value proposition first-hand; and activation of the sponsorship of Atlético de Madrid Femenino, with exclusive gifts, games and unique experiences that celebrate our commitment to sport and equality. All this on a stand that’s bigger than ever, located in a privileged area of the trade fair, designed to take the visitor to the real B&B HOTELS experience: accessible, functional, inspiring and connected to the new ways of travelling."
Participation in FITUR 2026 represents for B&B HOTELS” a strategic opportunity to consolidate our position as a benchmark in the hotel industry connected to the smart traveller and new ways of travelling." Thus, "as a French hotel chain with more than 900 hotels in 17 countries, the trade fair allows us to show the international tourism industry how we are redefining the concept of low middle scale accommodation through our value proposition: Smart Simplicity. This means offering a quality experience, with thoughtful design, digitalisation, sustainability and all the essential amenities, at a competitive price." In addition, "FITUR is the perfect scenario for sharing our commitment to inclusion and social responsibility, values that have led us to obtain B Corp certification in Spain, and which position us as a modern and conscious alternative to traditional hotel chains."
