Fundación ARCO offers all its Amigo ARCO the possibility of attending private visits to the best collections brought together in Madrid for the International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCOmadrid.
In addition to free tickets to museums and cultural institutions, Amigo ARCO can enjoy guided tours of great collections, both Spanish and international. Some of them are based in Madrid, such as Colección Bergé or Colección Rucandio; whilst others come to the capital from the international scene, like Colección Teixeira de Freitas in Sala de Arte Santander; also the international Peruvian art collections that come to Madrid on the occasion of Peru's participation in ARCO as guest country, such as Colección CIFO, together with the collections of Alberto Rebaza, Armando Andrade, Juan Carlos Verme and other collectors from El Instante Fundación, Colección Jan Mulder at Casa de América, and Colección Hochschild at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando.
The aim of these visits is for all Amigo ARCO to discover the most important collections of contemporary art in the city, and some of the most internationally renowned, which have chosen Madrid to promote a vision of collecting as an incentive for cultural development.
The visits will begin in the last week of January and continue throughout the following months, within a calendar devoted to all Amigo ARCO.
