In compliance with the provisions of Article 53 of the Consolidated Text of the Public Sector Contracts Law approved by Royal Legislative Decree 3/2011 of 14 November (TRLCSP). IFEMA constitutes a public sector entity, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of the TRLCSP. It is therefore subject to the contract award regime regulated in Article 192 of the aforementioned legal text, for which purpose it aligns its actions in this area with the principles of openness, competition, transparency, confidentiality, equality and non-discrimination, in accordance with the content of the Internal Contracting Instructions which are accessible on this website.

Within the framework of the fight against late payment, and in accordance with the principle of transparency, Organic Law 2/2012 of 27 April on budgetary stability and financial sustainability established the obligation to publish the average payment periods of each of the entities that make up the public sector and implemented a set of automatic and progressive measures aimed at ensuring compliance with the regulations on delinquency.
