MEAT ATTRACTION, your date with the world's best meats

The third edition will be held from 17 to 19 September at IFEMA With more than 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries expected to participate, this is the biggest instrument for the development, promotion and growth of the meat industry

The “First priority deadline” to request to participate ends on 27 March 

Meat Attraction, the International Trade Show for the Meat Industry will open the doors of its third edition from 17 to 19 September with an expected turnout of 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries. Hall 12 of IFEMA will host this new edition, which, under the motto “your date with the world’s best meats”, aims to be a top-tier sales instrument for companies and accompany them in their promotion and growth, while also helping to position the Spanish production and marketing sector as one of the world’s leading suppliers thanks to its production, innovation and export capability. 

Organised by IFEMA and   ANICE -National Association of Meat Industries of Spain- Meat Attraction 2019 has begun accepting participation requests through its website www.meatattraction.com, which also provides all the information required to take advantage of this great commercial platform available to professionals. The priority deadline to participate in the first meeting for assigning spaces, which will be held on April 9 , is 27 March. After this priority deadline, and until a few days before the Fair begins, companies that decide to exhibit at Meat Attraction will continue to be allocated space as available.

There are many innovations being introduced in this third edition to boost internationalisation and exports. China will be the Guest Importer Country, due to its import capacity and enormous opportunities . This action will boost commercial relations between Spain and this non-EU market, with the aid of a monograph day, guided tours and B2B sessions. Likewise, a special promotion will be carried out in 15 countries to consolidate mature markets and position oneself in or encourage the opening of emerging markets. In this sense, intense and strategic action will be taken in European markets (the UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany and Poland); MENA (Morocco, Algeria, Libya and the Arabian Peninsula); the Americas (USA, Mexico and Brazil), and Asia (the Philippines, Japan and South Korea), among others.

Along with these initiatives, Meat Attraction will make a significant investment in the International Guest Programme, which will attract both regular customers and potential new clients to Madrid for all directly exhibiting companies. In addition, the B2B - B2MEAT sessions will be held by product categories and buyer profile.

Furthermore, innovation will the Fair’s watchword, as one of the spearheads of the industry's development and visibility. We are thus incorporating the Innovation Hub, a composite of novelties and star products from exhibitors. The Accelera Awards for Innovation will also be a first. They are aimed at the participating companies that present the best product or service that has been on the market for one year or less.

Meat Attraction is also committed to supporting the sector through knowledge. It will thus offer professionals a complete programme of technical conferences and activities with sessions characterised by a great diversity of content, as well as by the expertise of both participants and speakers. Highlights include the 10th World Cured Ham Congress; Distrimeat: European Meat Distribution Congress, and the Meat&Organic Congress,, as well as other days for each product category.

Simultaneously, Meat Week is being created between 13 and 22 September, during which different actions will be held throughout the city of Madrid to promote consumption and awareness of the fundamental and vital nutritional properties of meat.
