In its new edition, Meat Attraction 2023, with an expected participation of more than 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professional visitors from 50 countries, is positioned as the monographic fair of reference for the meat industry in southern Europe.

This year the fair has taken a qualitative leap forward compared to previous editions, and has increased its financial resources for the B2Meat business meetings, the International Guest and Guest Importing Country programmes, in order to project itself as the fundamental instrument for the internationalisation of companies.

Likewise, in its fifth edition, the fair has increased its financial resources to promote national markets, with activities designed to enable distribution companies, both national and local, to take part.

All these networking activities are a valuable opportunity to promote oneself, interact with other professionals in the sector, and reach potential clients by establishing interesting commercial relationships.

Meat Attraction is therefore an excellent showcase for the Spanish meat industry, due to its capacity to amplify the visibility of our companies and their products, reaching an important and varied audience. It is an incomparable framework for conveying the unity of the sector, its commitment to innovation and the development of products of the highest quality and, in general, for highlighting all the strengths of the Spanish livestock-meat sector, of which there are many.

In short, Meat Attraction 2023 will have a very important impact on the image of our sector, the Spanish meat industry, which today occupies by far the first place in the entire Spanish food and beverage industry, with a figure of almost 32,000 million euros and more than 105,396 direct jobs, further strengthening its position in domestic and international markets, and improving its reputation, thanks to the high quality of our products.

In the last decade, the Spanish meat sector has been at the forefront of exports in the food and beverage industry, and has maintained its leading position during this time, exceeding 8,990 million euros in 2021, which translates into an increase in the value of sales abroad of 3.72%.

A positive evolution, but undoubtedly with a long way to go, given the high quality of our products and the competitiveness of our companies, which Meat Attraction 2023 will promote for the benefit of the image and reputation of the whole sector.
