The Meat Attraction Organizing Committee met last week at IFEMA MADRID and confirmed the good forecasts for the next edition, to be held from March 8 to 10, 2022. In this regard, with more than three months to go, the fair has already contracted more than 85% of the space. These figures underscore the sector's confidence in Meat Attraction, the meat industry's great face-to-face meeting.
Consolidated as a sectoral instrument at the service of the industry to boost its positioning, development, growth and visibility, this fourth edition is positioned as "the date with the best meats in the world", completely focused on the usefulness and return on investment of the participating companies.
During the meeting, the show's management also confirmed the extension of the impulse discount period for those companies that apply to participate in the show before November 30. In this way, those interested in participating can find the necessary information on the website to apply and benefit from all the commercial opportunities at the show.
Meat Attraction will feature numerous commercial actions to position the Spanish sector as one of the world's leading suppliers of meat and meat products. In this sense, the fair is once again launching the Guest Importer Country initiative, with Japan and Canada as guests on this occasion, two of the markets of strategic interest for the Spanish meat sector, due to their size and level of development.
It is also launching Meatplace International, the benchmark marketplace for the entire professional community. Likewise, IFEMA MADRID will once again invest heavily in the International Guest Program, which will attract buyers from all over the world to Madrid, selected by the exhibiting companies themselves to optimize their portfolio of business contacts during the fair. A large number of buyers from priority countries will also participate in the B2Meat supply and demand workshops, organized by product category and buyer profile.
Exhibitors and visitors will have access to the Product Area and the Auxiliary Industry and Value Chain Area, and specific spaces such as IbéricoLand -an exhibition space for the Iberian meat products industry- or The Butcher Shop, aimed especially at the retail channel with all the commercial equipment, tools, services and facilities for the point of sale, a space that enjoys the collaboration and unconditional support of CARNIMAD. Along these lines, the program of activities will include different initiatives such as The Establishment of the Future; Young Butchers; International Showcooking; Women in the meat sector; The Best Artisan Burger in Spain, and Digitalization Projects.
In addition to all this, there will be the Meatic Forum, a space with a program of technical conferences specializing in automation and digitization of the meat industry, as well as Factoría Chef.
Innovation and knowledge will also be protagonists, with a new edition of the Innovation Hub, the directory of innovations and star products presented by exhibitors, and the Accelera Awards, to support companies in both the product area and the auxiliary industry.
Meat Attraction will be complemented by information, visibility and recognition of the work of operators throughout the chain, such as Meat Week.
