CELEVANT returns and presents its Angus Beef line
The company specializing in beef Celevant, associated with Meat Center Ibérica, will present its successful Angus line for large-scale distribution and restaurants at the Meat Attraction fair. The meat company incorporated this select premium product into its range months ago and will show it at the joint stand of the Meat Business Association, Anafric, from March 8 to 10 in Madrid.
The company will also show its offer in deep-frozen meats, which has already made a place for itself in the company's business line.
The company states that "we have positioned ourselves in a strategic point for large-scale distribution and restaurants" and adds that "hamburger consumption is experiencing a good moment". The filleted meats and types of hamburgers are made according to standardized formats, but also with more personalized preparations according to customer demand, of recognized prestige in the restaurant sector.
Celevant, located in Torrent (Valencia), currently has a production capacity of 20,000 mt of meat per year and has frozen and refrigerated chambers with a capacity of more than 1,500 mt. Together with its associated company Meat Center Ibérica, it covers and controls the entire beef process from the preparation of feed, breeding and fattening of cattle, transport, slaughter, quartering and processing to the marketing of the final product.
Celevant, created in 1991 in the Valencian Community as a branch of Meat Center Ibérica, has experienced an important and continuous development in the last ten years. In 2009, Celevant expanded its facilities to accommodate cutting rooms and expand its services. In 2011, a new expansion of 3,000 m2 was promoted, which would become 9,000 m2 in 2015, with the new plant in Torrent. These new, modern facilities came into operation in 2016. They are equipped with machinery, state-of-the-art working lines and high-capacity technology. Its cold facility offers total control of the cold chain, both positive and negative, of all the merchandise. In 2020, this plant has also incorporated refrigerated and frozen chambers and new meat processing and dressing lines that allow the company to continue growing, as demonstrated by the new deep-frozen line. Likewise, the implementation of packaging lines and maturation chambers is planned for the year 2022. In this way Celevant reaffirms its position as a meat industry of reference.
