CARNES COVAP, transparency, and sustainability at Meat Attraction
In its ongoing effort to orient its production towards the market, Carnes Covap has introduced in the retail channel a selection of fresh cuts of Iberian pork, lamb, and beef, in a new packaging called skin.
The main advantages of this type of packaging are a greater space for communication to the consumer, who is increasingly interested in knowing the origin of the meat.
In addition to having information about the origin of our products at their fingertips, consumers can find in this packaging important nutritional benefits of meat, which make it an essential component of a balanced and healthy diet.
On the other hand, this new format fits perfectly with the cooperative's sustainability strategy, since it is a more environmentally sustainable packaging, which uses 75% less plastic, has separable materials for recycling, and is manufactured with cardboard from sustainable forests.
As of this year, the fresh mountain meat is also being marketed in skin packaging in the different sales channels, under our 100% Iberian acorn-fed acorn-fed meat brands: Alta Expresión and Esencia Única.
Carnes Covap is a transparent, honest and authentic brand. As proof of this, we include a QR code on the packaging, where you can find recipes and advice on each specific cut, and which also functions as a "window" to our origin and production model based on Traceability, Sustainability and Animal Welfare.
