The main companies of the ice cream sector will be brought together at Intersicop 2017

Experts in retail refrigeration, online shops with high end products, renowned Italian companies, or specialists in fittings, among others, will present the latest trends in equipment, products and services for the ice cream sector

Organised by IFEMA, the trade fair will be held from 19th to 21st February in Halls 12 and 14 of Feria de Madrid

The ice cream sector will have a notable representation in the next edition of Intersicop, the International Event for Baking, Confectionery, Ice Cream and Coffee, which will be held between 19-21 February at Feria de Madrid and which will offer professionals an important perspective in terms ofequipment, products and services for professionals in the ice cream sector, among other proposals.

At the moment some of the companies of the sector that are setting trends around the world have already confirmed their participation in the event, like Eurofred, Carpigiani and Aromitalia, which will showcase their latest trends in Madrid.

The trade fair, organised by IFEMA, will also see historic Italian companies taking part, like IFI, which has worked for more than 50 years innovating fittings for ice cream shops; Babbi, dedicated since 1952 to the production of cones, wafers and semi-manufactured products for ice cream making experts; Montebianco, which since 1966 has offered excellent product lines for ice cream professionals, or Ice Team 1927, with such well-renowned brands in ice cream and confectionery like Cattabriga, Coldelite, Promag, and Ott Freezer.

With regard to refrigeration, the proposals of Infrico, which is a leader in Spain in the production of retail refrigeration systems, will be on offer, as well as proposals by the multi-award winner, Irinox, which will showcase solutions aimed at the conservation of raw ingredients, which are fundamental for the preservation of the real flavour of ice cream.

On a national level the participation of Mejisa is worth highlighting, with a solid R&D department that has won them the 1991 Award for Research, Development and Diversification, among other awards granted to the company, and Sergel, which takes great care over the choice of each ingredient with the aim to provide ice cream makers with the ability to create original recipes. And for the more technologically-minded ice cream confectioners, Rume, one of the historic companies of the sector which, in addition, currently owns one of the main online shops for top products for professionals in the sector of ice cream, confectionery and catering.

These are just some of the exhibitors who have already confirmed their presence at Intersicop 2017.

INTERSICOP 2017
International Event for Bakery, Pastry, Confectionery, Ice Cream and Coffee. It will be held at Feria de Madrid, from 19th to 21st February 2017 with one goal: to become the meeting point for suppliers and professionals; but also for manufacturers and distributors, students and colleges, pastry chefs, bakers and other groups linked to the market in Spain.

The trade exhibition of products and services will be further enhanced by numerous parallel activities, including technical demonstrations, talks of interest to professionals, presentations of new products, national competitions and other content that will be organised to enhance this important industry event.
