InterSICOP to Hold an Exceptional Online Edition in 2021

• An event to keep the sector alive and active. It will link up with the face-to-face event in February 2022, fulfilling its goal of making business more dynamic, and promoting visibility, knowledge, training and interaction among the professionals of the industry as a whole. • In 2022 it will hold the face-to-face edition, with an event that we expect will exceed all forecasts for participation and professional attendance.

InterSICOP is the International Bakery, Confectionery, Ice Cream, Coffee and Equipment Exhibition. IFEMA and the Organising Committee have agreed to hold from an online event from 1st to 28th March 2021 to keep the sector’s business active, generating business and promoting knowledge exchange and learning. This will be a transitional event to pave the way for organising the 2022 edition in a safe environment and a context of economic recovery, an event that we are sure will exceed all expectations.

This is a carefully-considered decision taken after an exhaustive evaluation of the worldwide situation and the difficulty of forecasting the changes ahead, and our continuing commitment to the concerns and needs of the whole InterSICOP exhibition community in all its fields (bakery, pastry, ice cream, TECSICOP and cafés).

So, IFEMA is already working on this online event, part of our commitment to continue contributing to the growth and dynamism of all these sectors at a time when it is more important than ever. A two-week virtual meetup between supply and demand, with talks, seminars, B2B and competitions in the Bakery, Confectionery, Ice Cream, Café and Equipment sectors. In short, the birth of a digital business community using an innovative technological platform for promoting interaction and networking between all different actors in the industry.
