Il Mondo del Gelato, the gelato manual published by Roberto Lobrano in 2018, now presents a new edition in which some parts have been updated and, above all, the search for recipes and topics has been made easier with the implementation of an alphabetical index.

The book, considered a reference work for the sector, takes a look at the history, culture, technique and science of artisan gelato in the Italian tradition. With nearly 400 pages and written in Italian, it is highly appreciated by professionals for its function as a compilation of fundamental data on the history, product categories and especially for the section dedicated to tasting.

Lobrano, co-founder and director of the Scuola Internazionale di Alta Gelateria (SIDAG) and an expert in marketing applied to the ice cream sector, works as a consultant in many countries.
