

José Roldán, new captain of Los Espigas
The award-winning baker hopes to form a young, competitive and committed team.
Ceoppan (Spanish Confederation of Bakery, Confederacion Española de Panadería, Pastelería, Bollería y Afines) has appointed José Roldán as the new captain of the Spanish Artisan Bakery Team (Los Espigas). This 31-year-old from Cordoba, who has been part of the national team since 2015, is "delighted, as it is a great challenge for me, and because I am preceded by great professionals such as Juan Félix Navarro, Josep Pascual, Eduard Crespo 'Capi', and the last coach we had, Arturo Blanco".
Roldán, who teaches international training and was Spanish champion and runner-up in the world at Club Richemont's Bread in the City competition in 2017, hopes to "put together a young, committed and very competitive team that will put Spain in the place it deserves".
