Taking into account the needs and interests of the sectors represented at InterSICOP (bakery, pastry, ice cream, coffee and TECSICOP), as well as the different sensitivities within the business arena, IFEMA has determined that the final dates for the next trade fair will be 20 to 23 February 2021. The event will be held in halls 12,14 and 14.1, with a total exhibition area of 40,000 m2 for trade exhibitions, seminars, activities, demonstrations and competitions.
InterSICOP is strengthening its commitment to a specialised and specific event model, integrating and maximising the synergies between suppliers and professionals from the bakery, pastry, ice cream and coffee sectors.
The decision was influenced by the seasonality of some of the sectors represented in this major sectoral event, such as ice cream and pastry, as well as the desirability of maintaining the biennial timing of the three major national competitions for pastries, baked goods and ice cream which take place within the framework of the trade fair.
Equipment, machinery and technology at TECSICOP
Under the banner of TECSICOP, InterSICOP 2021 will help promote equipment, machinery and technology providers for the different sectors, with the aim of boosting and accelerating sales processes and equipment upgrades, as well as offering greater efficiency and competitiveness in production and manufacturing processes.
At the cutting edge
Under the motto ‘Hands that unite us with innovation’, the next trade fair will focus on six central concepts: health, flavour, tradition and trade, innovation, sustainability and the market.
An innovative, modern, up-to-date and ground-breaking event aligned with new market trends, it will once again offer a showcase for the latest product launches in the bread, pastry, ice cream and coffee industries.
InterSICOP as a sales generator
The aim of INTERSICOP in 2021 is to position itself as the largest specialised gathering for these four sectors in southern Europe. A major event for industry professionals, it will focus on boosting training and new talents, recognising the value of experience, trade skills, the quality and excellence of the great masters of innovation, and promoting actions geared toward the hotel and restaurant sector, as well as retail and supermarkets.
For all these reasons, InterSICOP 2021 - the only trade fair in Spain just for bakery, pastry and ice cream products - is the most comprehensive and cost-effective mechanism for reaching more than 30,000 professionals from 70 countries.
