On 11 March, Fernando Toda, editor of Grupo Vilbo, interviewed Daniel Flecha within the framework of InterSICOP LIVEConnect.
Flecha, the third generation in a renowned family of bakers from León, was declared the winner of the Third National Artisan Bakery Championship, at InterSICOP 2019. The competition, organised by the Spanish Confederation of Bakery, Pastry, Cake and Related Organisations (CEOPPAN), aims to discover professionals who can join the National Artisan Bakery Team (Los Espigas).
In this interview, in addition to talking about how the family business is coping with the health crisis and if he has noticed consumer changes in recent times, the young baker analysed his participation in the contest.
