The star product of Tolosana became, in 1994, the first confectionery production distinguished with the “C'Alial” seal.

The Almudévar braid, the star product of Tolosana and key player in one of the success stories presented at the 2019 Intersicop Forum, became, in 1994, the first confectionery production distinguished with the certificate of food quality from the Government of Aragón, called the “C'Alial” seal.

The creation of this authentic, indigenous product started at the beginning of the 80s in the bakery run by the Tolosana family in Almudévar (Huesca). It is a natural piece of confectionery without additives or preservatives, created from a delicate dough and a puff pastry with butter, filled with a special yolk, nuts, filleted almonds and raisins soaked in rum, and topped off with a glaze.
