FITUR 2024, in collaboration with WOMEN LEADING TOURISM - WLT, presented the fourth edition of the FITUR Woman section, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of gender equality and female empowerment in the tourism sector (goal 5).
This section focuses its debate on the role of women in the world of work in the tourism industry and the importance of female leadership in rebuilding a better sustainable and inclusive tourism.
Fitur WOMAN 2024, was sponsored by Seville, which joins the efforts of IFEMA MADRID/FITUR to contribute to the construction of a sustainable and inclusive tourism.
About WOMEN LEADING TOURISM – WLT
The WOMEN LEADING TOURISM - WLT- Association promotes and encourages the presence of women in the highest corporate governance bodies in tourism and addresses the challenges resulting from the deficit of female presence in senior management in the tourism industry. It also proposes to mentor a new generation of women who have an important role to play in the tourism sector.
