FITUR 2024, in collaboration with WOMEN LEADING TOURISM - WLT, hosted the fourth edition of the FITUR Woman, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of gender equality and female empowerment in the tourism sector (goal 5).
This section is focused on the challenge of the female role in the world of work in the tourism industry and the importance of female leadership in the reconstruction of a better, sustainable and inclusive tourism.
FITUR Woman 2024, was sponsored by Sevilla, which joined the efforts of IFEMA MADRID and FITUR to contribute to the construction of sustainability and inclusion in tourism.
About WOMEN LEADING TOURISM – WLT
The WOMEN LEADING TOURISM - WLT- Association promotes and encourages the presence of women in the highest corporate governance bodies in tourism and addresses the challenges resulting from the deficit of female presence in senior management in the tourism industry. It also proposes to mentor a new generation of women who have an important role to play in the tourism sector.
