The European Association for the Study of Diabetes celebrates in IFEMA MADRID its 60th Annual Meeting
EASD 2024 will be held at the Recinto Ferial IFEMA MADRID from September 9th to 13th
The annual meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes expects to maintain for its 60th edition the participation level of previous years, in which around 15,000 diabetologists and diabetes experts from 130 countries attended.
The scientific programme will feature more than 1,200 sessions on the latest results in diabetes research by leading experts in the field. The congress will also include an hybrid component as has been customary since its 2018 edition.
The Association takes advantage of its Annual Meeting to award five major prizes: The Camillo Golgi Prize, the Claude Bernard Prize, die Minkowski Prize, the Albert Renold Prize and the EASD-Novo Nordisk Foundation Diabetes Prize for Excellence. Their recipients are invited to deliver a lecture during the congress.
