IFEMA MADRID leads the international trade fair calendar in Spain with 45 professional events in 2024

The Official Calendar of International Trade Fairs, published by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business, includes 39 shows organised by IFEMA MADRID, as well as another 6 organised by external operators to be held in IFEMA’s facilities this year. Madrid will be on the rise in 2024, hosting 44% of the national share of international trade fairs, followed by Barcelona (22%), Valencia (13%) and Barakaldo (4%).

IFEMA MADRID once again leads the Official Calendar of International Trade Fairs for 2024, with 39 trade shows organised by this institution of international scope, in addition to 6 more organised by other operators. Altogether, 45 international trade fairs will be held at the IFEMA MADRID facilities over the course of the year, out of a total of 102 trade fairs that will be held throughout the country.

The Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business, through the State Secretariat for Commerce, has published this calendar in which Madrid is ahead of all other Spanish provinces, with more international fairs, 44% of market share – and 95 more than last year – followed by Barcelona (22%), Valencia (13%), Vizcaya (5%), Seville, Ourense and Pontevedra (3%), Valladolid, Alicante and Zaragoza (2%), and Malaga and Lleida (1%).

In 2024, Promogift, the International Promotional Gift Trade Fair, will be the first international fair organised by IFEMA MADRID to be held, followed by others that return from previous years, among which are FITUR, GENERA, INTERGIFT, BISUTEX, MADRIDJOYA, MOMAD, MBFWMadrid, INTERSICOP, SICUR, ARCOmadrid, AULA, International Higher Education and Ongoing Training Fair , RED+ INTERDIDAC Congress, Iberzoo+ Propet, Expodental, Expofranquicia, Expoóptica, Madrid Más Moto, Organic Food Iberia and Eco Living Iberia, SRR, TECMA, GREX World Congress, Fruit Attraction, Salón Look, FIAA, Feriarte, SIMO Educación, and the trade fairs of the construction and building sector for International Construction Week.
