The packaging solutions provider launches three product families made from materials that come from renewable sources.

After the coronavirus lockdown, CartService, an exhibitor at InterSICOP, is broadening its production to fields other than pastry shops such as cooking and catering. This packaging solutions provider has developed, in record time, three product families - Prismabox, Ecoflute and Biopap - that are compostable, biodegradable and recyclable.

The Prismabox range has six models of container in different shapes, sizes and capacities, aimed at both the cooking of doughs and the presentation of sweet and savoury foods. Its black colour and design, which facilitates viewing the content, makes it ideal for premium product packaging. One of its attractions is its versatility, since it can be used both in the oven, microwave and freezer. It also includes a transparent plastic cap made from 100% recycled PET from bottles.

Ecoflute is ideal for home delivery and for eating outside the home. It includes containers that are made from a specially designed cardboard, created so it does not absorb grease or moisture from the food, keeping it crisp and fresh. In its production, heating and cooling, simulations have been applied to achieve the highest thermal resistance over time so that the food arrives in the best possible condition at its destination.

Finally, as a consequence of the incorporation of the Italian company Biopap into the Novacart group, CartService can now offer Biopap thermo cardboard trays for pre-cooked or ready-to-eat dishes. These can be used to cook products in the oven up to 200ºC, reheat in the microwave, freeze, etc. They are 100% compostable, biodegradable and recyclable and replace aluminium trays and moulds. They come in a pack of three units with different capacities, a biofilm roll and a heat-sealing machine.
