On 2 October at 12 pm, Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect will host the session: Technological Developments at the Service of the Containers and Packaging of the Future for Fruit, Greens and Vegetables, organised by Packnet, the Spanish Technological Platform for Containers and Packaging.
At this conference, issues directly affecting the packaging of this type of products will be discussed in detail, focusing on themes associated with how innovation in packaging is enabling improvements in product conservation and extending the life cycle of products, thus minimising food waste. It will also take a deeper look at trends in packaging design, taking into account factors such as eco-design, sustainability, food safety, new materials, etc., as well as the impact of new packaging on the efficiency of logistics processes in the fruit and vegetable sector: cost optimisation and improved traceability.
The sessions, which will be moderated by Belén García, director of PACKNET, will also include participation by Juan Felipe Vicente Hernandez, managing director at POLYMER LOGISTICS, and Leonor Pascual, project manager at AINIA.
