Fruit Attraction announces a new edition of the Innovation Hub Awards
Exhibitors and co-exhibitors can present their best projects, products or services until 2 September.
Fruit Attraction is once again launching its Innovation Hub Awards. These awards for innovation and entrepreneurship in the fruit and vegetable industry are aimed at those exhibiting and co-exhibiting companies that present the best project, product or service for the industry, always with a focus on the criteria of innovation, sustainability, applied technology and knowledge.
Companies participating at Fruit Attraction 2026 interested in taking part in the event can do so via the website until 2 September, provided that they are products, technological solutions or services aimed at the fruit and vegetable industry that were placed on the market after 1 September 2025, and that have not been entered in previous editions of the award.
The Innovation Hub Awards, which have become a fundamental event for supporting the entrepreneurial commitment of the industry, will once again have its usual categories -Fresh Produce Award; F&V Industry Award, and Sustainability and Commitment Actions -with a cash prize of 2,000 euros in each.
All applications submitted, and that meet the requirements, will exhibit their products in the INNOVATION HUB area, an exhibition space for innovative products located in the passage between halls 5 and 7, over the 3 days of the trade fair.
At the last edition of Fruit Attraction, the Innovation Hub Awards recognised the most outstanding products and services in the industry from a total of 50 entries and 9 finalists. The Fresh Produce award went to IRTA - Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries; in the F&V Industry category, the winner was Edencore; and in Sustainability and Commitment Actions, the award went to Pallet Sure.
Fruit Attraction, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX will be held from 6 to 8 October with particularly positive forecasts, which point to the participation of more than 2,500 companies, a total occupancy of 162,000 m2 spread over 10 halls and an attendance of more than 121,000 trade visitors from over 150 countries.
