Fruit Attraction 2018 far exceeded all expectations, attracting 81,235 trade professionals from 122 countries, 19% more than the previous year. 1,621 companies came from 40 countries, 11% more while the fair covered a total of 51,400 square metres – an increase of 15% over last year.
A new attraction was the flower and plant sector event, Flower & Garden Attraction.
Fruit Attraction enhanced areas such as Organic Hub, the Smart Agro space and Nuts Hub. The Innovation Hub and Foro Innova areas were dedicated to innovation and business innovations in the sector. The fair also hosted the Accelera Awards for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Fruit Fusion once again represented the gastronomic space within Fruit Attraction with attractive demonstrations and live cooking demonstrations.
In its 10th year, Fruit Attraction was once again a major meeting point for all the professionals throughout the entire supply chain and innovation framework of the fruit and vegetable market.
