The Almeria-based cooperative Ecoinver celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, and does so with its first participation in one of the largest meeting points for fruit and vegetable operators in Madrid, Fruit Attraction 2022. It will be present in Hall 9 STAND 9C08C.
In 2007 the Segura family founded Ecoinver with great enthusiasm and desire to offer the world the best of the Almerian countryside. Since then, this family business has been growing, reaching a turnover of 40,000,000 euros and more than 350 workers in its last fiscal year.
Ecoinver specializes in the production of vegetables adapted to the new trends and needs of the market. Leaders in the production of mini cucumber at national level and with a wide range of products among which stand out the snack cucumber, mini eggplant, sweet bite peppers, flavored tomatoes, hot peppers and much more.
Located in La Mojonera, Ecoinver has more than 170 ha of production and facilities of more than 6,000m2 for handling and shipping the product.
Its trajectory has been marked by an important generational change. From the hands of Ramón Segura and Mari Carmen Martín, founding partners, to those of Ismael and Daniel Segura, current manager and financial director.
Present in more than 19 countries in Europe, the United States and Canada, and with a very promising future. Ecoinver continues to focus its work on the needs of new markets, producing quality vegetables to meet the demands of the world's most demanding customers.
More sustainable objectives
With consolidated projects on the table, the company continues to focus on health, sustainability and the quality of its products. Proof of this has been its latest commitment to the production and export of specialties with organic and biodynamic certification through Ecoinver BIO S.L.
