Each Buononaturale specialty food tells the story of the rural area of Italy it comes from, making it more palatable to the modern global consumer thanks to a newly reformulated recipe, sustainable production choices and ease of use.

Buononaturale was born in the Apennines of southern Italy, in the fertile lands of Irpinia, which overlooks two seas, as an incubator of excellence in the Italian food sector. Each of its production sites is located in its place of origin - or in areas of rural Italy where that specific food culture is typical - and is distributed worldwide under the Buononaturale brand. Its mission is to satisfy an ever-increasing demand for natural foods to obtain a diet that protects and even reinforces different types of balance, such as sensory, body and environmental.

Buononaturale's products aim to promote sustainable eating styles that satisfy our constant need for energy to cope with stressful daily life, while respecting and supporting the environment and local communities, offering a combination of taste, ease of preparation, authenticity and sustainability. All this is made possible by reinterpreting typical Italian dishes. Buononaturale's approach is therefore summarized in that wellness is achieved by eating well, with #eatwellwithBuononaturale as the brand's signature hashtag on social media.

At every bite, Buononaturale products will take the consumer on a journey through Italy, from the foothills of the mighty volcano Etna, through the picturesque countryside of the Apennines, to the rice paddies of the Po Valley, capturing all the rich smells and flavors. Buononaturale products are synonymous with high quality, not only because of the semi-craft and traditional processes used to obtain them, but also because of the ingredients used, which emanate directly from the production area. Thanks to this, we develop a production that responds to the widespread desire for a healthy diet inspired by the bright colors and powerful flavors of the healthy and balanced Italian rural life. This production usually includes ingredients of organic origin; therefore we exclude the use of genetically modified organisms, chemical treatments or additives in the transformation processes and we opt for glass packaging, which facilitates a first sensory approach to the products and favors their reuse before recycling.

The Buononaturale range includes a large number of Italian specialties that modern consumers turn to depending on the mood of their day. The innovation behind the Buononaturale brand is expressed at various levels in business decisions, from production to packaging, which aim to protect the naturalness of the basic ingredients (e.g. Buonononaturale pulses are only boiled and packaged in glass jars). It is also committed to reformulating classic Italian recipes to anticipate the expectations of modern consumers by offering them an excellent traditional dish that is nevertheless easy to recreate in just a few minutes or without animal ingredients (e.g. with Buononaturale's ready meals and vegan sauces), which were among the finalists in the Innovation category of the Better Future Award, promoted by the organizers of TUTTOFOOD Milano 2021, and gold winners in the Excellent Taste category at the Mediterranean Taste Awards 2022 held in London, UK). All this without forgetting the promotion of Italian tradition, which boosts the craftsmanship on which the most distinctive parts of certain production processes are based (e.g. bronze cutting of Buononaturale pasta).

This complex mission translates into two main product lines, organic and traditional. The Buononaturale ORGANIC line includes canned vegetables, sauces and reductions, rice and ready meals based on rice, semolina or special cereals. The Buononaturale TRADITIONAL line includes semi-craft specialties such as pestos with nuts and spreads, truffle products, pasta, ice cream, sorbets and focaccias from Apulia.

We are currently "cooking" a new line of products, including classic Italian dishes, but of vegetable origin, which is expected to be launched by the end of 2023. Don't miss all the news.
