It was born in 2009 as a new business project driven by its founders with more than 50 years of experience in the production and export of agri-food products. Currently, Alcoaxarquia is a national reference in the production of organic tropical fruits, mainly avocado and mango, and organic citrus fruits. The strategic vision that the company had 10 years ago has made that today we have one of the largest areas of organic production in Spain, distributed in different provinces of Andalusia.
We produce and market, a process that in each campaign we take care of even the smallest detail. Because we want to understand the work we do and the results of the decisions we make. With this objective, we develop R&D&I projects in the field, in collaboration with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), which allows us to know the behavior of the fruit from its first stages of growth on the tree. Subsequently, in our processing plant, the fruits receive their corresponding ripening and packaging treatments in a sustainable and natural way so that they reach the final consumer with all their nutritional properties.
We guarantee quality, but also availability, a commitment acquired with our customers, wholesalers and large supermarkets in different parts of the world, who need a continuous and uniform supply throughout the year. To achieve this, Alcoaxarquia Group has expanded its productive ecosystem to other countries, such as Peru, Mexico or Morocco. From these origins we supply markets in several continents, always with the same philosophy: to manufacture quality organic products adapted to the needs of each market.
Grupo Alcoaxarquia is certified by the most demanding international standards, such as organic certification, IFS, BRC, Global GAP, Global GRASP, Global SPRING, SMETA, Naturland, Bio Suisse and, most recently, Demeter (Biodynamic), which gives us direct access to the most demanding markets. Under these standards we work all over the world to connect with markets, but above all with consumers. Because awakening in them the pleasure of tasting a good fruit is what moves us every day.
