In its commitment to offering the audiovisual sector an efficient platform to promote its commercial activity and taking into account the various sensitivities of the corporate environment, IFEMA is providing a boost to the International Audiovisual Technology Trade Fair, under the new brand BIT MEDIA.
One of the new aspects of the project is its dates, specifically from the 28 to 30 October 2020, that place the Madrid event in a strategic month for the professional agenda, favouring continuity of the commercial activities that begins with the major European events, which are held precisely in the last quarter of the year.
The change in dates will enable exhibitors and visitors to see the latest trends in the industry at a time when the budgets for the next financial year are being drawn up for the industry’s major projects.
BIT MEDIA will also expand its offer of content and networking areas, working towards a model that is open to new sectors which, in alignment with the evolution of the industry itself, will allow integration and strengthening of the synergies between exhibiting companies and audiovisual industry professionals.
Beyond traditional broadcast, BIT MEDIA, will cover both technology and content for the media and entertainment industry, thus welcoming solutions aimed at publication, creation, monetising, consumption, and management... embracing new content distribution platforms, creation of disruptive content, income diversification, user loyalty, work flow management and automation.
The new business models will also be showcased at the upcoming edition of BIT MEDIA, gauging new technologies such as all-IP production, multicloud management, remote production, blockchain, eSports, artificial intelligence and big data.
Completing the commercial offering, BIT MEDIA will host an interesting program of international conferences that, under the brand BIT EXPERIENCE, will include various plenary sessions and specialised workshops, with the participation of top-tier experts and speakers. An informative and highly qualified context for the exchange of knowledge and experience, around the future of the audiovisual, digital and multimedia industry.
The object of this new plan is to contribute to the growth of BIT MEDIA, the main trade fair in Spain, and to build, along with the industry, a major professional event that will bring together the main audiovisual industry agents and cover a sector that is in the midst of an in-depth revolution.
