ARCOstaff uniforms - by SOHUMAN
SOHUMAN, a Spanish fashion company that presents its collections at London Fashion Week, has been selected by ARCOmadrid to design the ARCO Staff uniforms.
The creative director and collector Javier Aparici has proposed a design for a disruptive, unisex outfit, with white as its primary colour, but whose colours change with movement. This innovative technique, never seen before in the world of fashion, has been christened ‘Artibe’ - from ‘arte sobre el Mar Caribe’, or ‘art on the Caribbean Sea’ - which is the central axis of this year’s ARCO. Finally, the light from the spotlights of the ARCO pavilion on the fabric simulates the reflections of the sun on the sea.
