The Brazilian artist, Zé Carlos García, from Pasto gallery, in Buenos Aires, has been awarded the I Six Senses Ibiza Sustainable Art Award. This prize, incorporated into ARCOmadrid this year, distinguishes the art contents that best reflect concerns about sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The jury, made up of Markus Reyman, director of TBA21 and Latitudes (Max Andrews and Mariana Canepa), selected the creator from over 40 participating proposals. He will receive an award endowed with 10,000 euros. The work of Zé Carlos García reflects the principle of sustainability this initiative was seeking.
